McCain was one of the worst choices ever for the Republican party. Hopefully the conservative base will put forth a really viable candidate in the next election cycle. Letting liberals and independents vote in party primaries is a mistake. The DemocRATS do not allow crossover voting in most of their primaries.Warren Said:

The RNC may represent part of my positions, but the Tea Party / libertarian platform combination (and, as an individual, who is not a democrat/liberal, I do not have to vote a party line) does a better job.NO MORE RNC donations from me, EVER. I hate to burst your bubble, we don't need another "compassionate conservative", we simply need a conservative.add: aaaahhhh, good question. That's another matter. An actual "conservative" would be Tom McClintock, problem is, he's not out in the spotlight and relatively unknown by those outside Cali... honestly, and sadly, there are only a rare few who are genuine conservatives.
