By world standards most of the news outlets in the USA reflect a conservative view. They all advocate free market economics and few are critical of hawkish foreign policy.

Did you happen to see any real debate in the USA in the lead up to the Iraq War? All the major media outlets had the same pro-invasion reporting.

CNN is most certainly conservative and MSNBC is socially more liberal but their business reporting is conservative.

If you want to see what real liberal news reporting is like take a look at www.spiegel.de or www.guardian.co.uk . There isn't a single socialist in the US congress. If you believe otherwise I'd suggest you don't really know what that word means.

I AM a registered Republican and am center right on most social issues but I also live in Europe six months a year and have lived for extended periods in Asia as well. Once you've seen what the rest of the world looks like you understand how myopic the US media are.

quite simple really. fox is KILLING them in ratings. there IS a reason they are winning by a huge margin too. their opinion guys like bill o ask intelligent questions rather than far left loons like olberman who do nothing but spout obama talking points.
if it weren't for fox, we wouldn't know of the terrible corruption in groups like acorn. does anyone else think for one moment that msnbc (or ANY of the others networks) would air the footage showing how bad things are with acorn or the fact that FORMER green jobs czar van jones is a communist or how anita dunn (FORMER white house communications director) is a big fan a mao ze tung? or how obama has said that he was in favor of government-only run health care? (there are videos of him talking about it and how he would implement this plan) he wanted to bring it on slowly by calling it an option and saying sates could opt out of thie program (BUT, they still pay into it no matter what)

fox exposes the lies and distortions- thats why they are on top!

If you want conservative news sites I'd go to Red State, newsmax, or Michelle Malkin's blog. Some good liberal sites are Huffington Post, Daily kos, and fire dog lake. If you want more non partisan news you should go to politico and 538 while it does have a liberal bias is fairly straightforward. Also you can always look at print and broadcast publications that are posted online.
