Conservative Policies 2010
Elaine Said:
Why are the conservative "deficit peacocks" demanding cuts to social programs which provide safety nets?We Answered:
Because the founders believed in Individual Rights. for example"The Utopian schemes of levelling, and a community of goods, are as visionary and impracticable, as those which vest all property in the Crown, are arbitrary, despotic, and in our government unconstitutional. Now what property can the colonists be conceived to have, if their money may be granted away by others, without their consent?" - Sam Adams
I do not have a Right to your property. You do have a duty to help the needy to the best of your ability. People in this country are very generous. I do think a corporate exec that steals from the company should end up penniless. Madoff's wife should have been left with nothing.
The county of Galveston Texas has opted out of Social Security and has their own system, as it should be. How can the federal government give the same money to someone living in a big city the same money as someone living in the country. I can rent a house in Maine for $400. It would cost $1000 or more in NYC.
It is not that the conservative does not believe in helping the needy. But look at what your great tyrannical government has done with these great utopian programs. Social Security $14 trillion, prescription drugs $10 trillion and medicare $74 trillion in unfunded liabilities. That is 107 in unfunded liabilities. This is money you as a taxpayer owes. That comes to $350,000 per man woman and child. When do we get our taxes raised to pay this? Do you think that is a good system? And you want to let the expand medicare to a healthcare program? Will the magically get this one right?
People follow left and right talking points, but you need to look at facts. The money isn't there. Social Security was originally intended to be a trust. not touched by government. there is no trust. there is no money locked away. The politicians STOLE it. They spent it. The money you pay to Social Security is not there. the government admits to large fraud in these systems. They say nothing can be done about it. Well if you have fifty of these small systems, one per state, you have more control over it. If you have a few thousand of these, one per county, different counties will have different solution and eventually a few good ones will appear.
Learn about the government. it is not your mother. It is a necessary evil that must be limited and controlled. Or we end up Trillions of dollars in debt. http://www.usdebtclock.org/

Are the British people beginning to get wise to the Conservatives paperthin policies? We Answered:
Some are. But the odds are that he will win the next election. The opinion polls forget that the Conservatives have been pouring money into target seats as well as the way most the media is backing them.

Would JFK and his policies be considered Conservative in 2010?We Answered:
i know he believed in a strong, well-funded military(fifty cents on the dollar to defense in 1963).he would have nuked cuba in a new york minute and was very close to it.
he believed in his country as the best.
he was a war hero and proud of it.
what do you think?

What are the Conservative policies on tax breaks for married couples? We Answered:
This was their basic proposal for tax breaks (I tend to bookmark things) and I believe was on their website as a policy. I believe after yesterday that it has been removed. One minute Cameron said he couldn't promise it as he didn't know if it was affordable, the next minute (after pressure from his advisors no doubt) he came out and said they would be doing it, but couldn't say how it was going to be afforded. Who knows what tricky Dave is up to, maybe he has a plan to increase the tax for families whose parents aren't married, thus fulfilling his pledge and making married couples better off than unmarried couples. The sooner people realise he is all spin and no substance the better.
Sorry, forgot to include the link, so here it is.
