Conservative Political Shirts

Christine Said:

What do you think Latino and conservative groups clash over student's "Mexico" t-shirt?

We Answered:

If she is not pushing anything agenda wise - then why is she complaining? If she is such a U.S. citizen, why fly a foreign flag over your business at all? Why not just the U.S. flag?

She and her daughter already got an apology. For most people that is enough. So who is being unreasonable and showing racist hatred now?

Hint: It isn't the teacher.

Hugh Said:

Can the American’s explain why their population is so split between Republicans & Democrats?

We Answered:

Simple Psychology. We have those among us who are leaders and those who are followers. The followers don't do the research, would rather be told what to believe, line up with the majority, are suceptible to the basic need for protection so that any fear issue relates them more strongly to a party for war. Can
you see where this thought is going?
Look at the majority of issues facing America today with respect to what the responses are. You won't find any fact based arguements for the Republican Agenda. Anything posted by a Neo-con nutjob is just a "talking-point" courtesy of Karl Rove or a personal opinion they think is a substantiated fact--Baloney. Or you'll see some off-the-wall, aggressive, non-relative bashing.
When the guy you voted for has evolved into the worst President ever--you kinda get a little po'd.
The days of middle-class people having a conservative voice in the Gov't are over. The republican candidates who have those types of political views are less than a handful in both Houses. All you have left are the candidates whose political actions have left us in this mess abroad and within.

I think that Americans are ready to governed, and done with being ruled. The new Congress will be a real eye opener to many, I just hope their ready for it. From what I see posted on here the denial and inability to change is more than evident.

Oh well--that's why they shall continue to be in the minority.

Maureen Said:

Remember that MAIC report calling conservative thought 'extreme', & essentially a gateway drug to terrorism?

We Answered:

Yes, I remember this.

It behooves all Americans to carry safe but potentially suspicious items (like cash) on airplanes. We have very few avenues of protest left to us, but civil disobedience, probably one of the best and most effective methods of protest is alive and well.

Rosa Said:

Really confusing political question?

We Answered:

People can be whatever they want to be. That is a human right and has nothing to do with political agendas. However, changing laws to benefit those who are out of the mainstream is dumb when the majority do not want the laws changed.

I have no problem with gays, or gays having a civil union that would give them all the same legal rights as a heterosexual couple, but changing the marriage laws to eliminate the one man one woman clause is not appropriate. You don't change the entire structure of society to give a privilege to a few regardless of the issue. Race, religion or whatever.

Relationship between thoughts on Global Warming and political party affiliation?

We Answered:

Actually, thoughtful Republicans know it's real, and mostly caused by us, too. Here are just a few:

"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"

"National Review published a cover story this past week calling on conservatives to shake off denial and get into the climate policy debate"

"Pat Robertson (very conservative Christian leader) 'It is getting hotter and the ice caps are melting and there is a build up of carbon dioxide in the air. We really need to do something on fossil fuels.”

Ford Motor Company CEO William Clay Ford, Jr. "I believe there is now more than enough evidence of climate change to warrant an immediate and comprehensive - but considered - response. Anyone who disagrees is, in my view, still in denial."

"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."

James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.

"Republican governors team up against global warming"

http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Republican…

"the overwhelming number of scientists now believe that there is significant human cause,'' Giuliani said, adding the debate on the existence of global warming "is almost unnecessary ... ''

http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=…

"(from Republicans for Environmental Protection) The consensus of almost all climate scientists is that global warming is already happening, that human actions are causing it, and that it will cause major problems for our planet."
