Kool92, First off, congratulations on winning a government scholarship... My advice would be to do well in it so that you can get outta Malaysia.. Seriously, i concur, it feels like we're living in the world's backyard here... Btw, ko dpt JPA eh? anyhow,congrats... Secondly, as advice from a fellow Muslim, believe me when I say that praying helps, but not in the way u hoped it would. See, Allah always does the best for his subjects, no matter what, and I remember doubting myself when I was younger too (I found out when I was 15), as such, I have tried to ask Allah to change me, make me normal somehow, added with the fact that I was in MRSM for 2 years, so the burden on being closeted is even more...

Anyhow, to cut a long story short, yeah, work ur butt off... hahahah, do well in ur IB and SAT and go overseas, maybe then, you will find what you are looking for... Incidentally, tats exactly the same plan I have lolx, except, I didn't get a government scholarship... :(... And, about ur parents, I understand how hard the pressure is on you, and I really don know wat to say, cos I'm kinda in the same predicament right now... (parents don't know...), So, anyway, i guess my best advice is to get out of here.. So, i bid you goodluck with that... I myself will be flying soon... I hope...

Wow, this sounds like me! I'm also very feminine, and I have long hair. No one has ANY clue that I'm gay until I tell them, and then I get comments like "really?? I wouldn't have guessed". lol You should try wearing something rainbowish, like a bracelet, necklace, earrings, etc. I have bumper stickers lol After a while people figure it out because they hear me make comments about girls and stuff. Don't cut your hair!! I also thought about making myself look more butch, but that's silly because that's not who I am. And there are plenty of feminine lesbians out there so you're differently not alone. I would still go with the whole rainbow thing. Good luck!
