We are now either ignored or lied about - called terrorists, Nazis etc.
Now that nearly ALL of "the media" has admitted being willing propagandists for the left. It's not as easy for us to get exposure (except propaganda lying about us) as it once was.

If you're talking about the traditional definition of conservative--which is the desire for less government involvement in economic and political affairs--than the Libertarians are the true conservatives.

I'm liberal, but I know many, many conservatives who aren't machine gun-toting, racist, murder-advocating jerks. And I don't know /any/ conservatives who are pro-slavery. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican afterall.

I'm not a conservative, but I'll try to answer your questions off the top of my head without doing research on the internet

1) I was taught in school that ancient Greece was the cradle of democracy (not the same as freedom, but those terms are used interchangeably by those on the right)

2) I remember hearing that Iceland and Switzerland are older than the US

3) WWI and WWII both were raging for years before the US entered those wars. While the entrance of the United States helped tip the war in the favor of the Allies, credit must be given to those nations that fought longer in those wars than America,

4) I've read that there are European nations that give a greater portion of their GNP than the US. Since I'm not cheating by Googling the nations, I can't know for sure which ones

5) Every nation that has been attacked by terrorists has strived to reduce the risk. There have been many countries that have had their version of 911, such as the attack on the London subway, the take over of a Russian school full of children or the attack on Mumbai, although none has had as many deaths in one day.
