In simple terms here are the definitions (although, these idiots on both sides make decisions that are contrary to their so-called philosophy every day)...

Liberal-This means that a person believes that the our government should be liberal in the control of our lives. They should spend a lot of money, have a lot of programs, have a lot of laws to "take care of us", and that they should be actively involved in the lives of Americans.

Conservative-This should mean that a person believes that government should be 'conservative' with how much money the government spends, and be careful to only apply government money, power, authority, laws, etc.. when it is completely necessary.

I think that the more "conservative" a style is, the more it downplays the sexual "advertising" that other styles might promote. Conservative can be very classical, very stylish, just less skin, less come-on, less advertising that an individual might be sexually available or desirable.

Being conservative means keeping things the same.

If these conservatives had their way, African-Americans would still be slaves. After all, wasn't the U.S. founded upon the backs of slaves? Aren't African-Americans listed as 3/5s of a human being in the Constitution?

They don't believe in progressing. They believe that they are the only ones with a private line to God. They believe that they are the only ones who work and pay taxes. They believe that they are the only ones with "family values." They complain about government helping citizens that need it......unless of course they need govenment to help them, then big government is okay.

For me it is this simple

Conservative (US political definition which in my opinion is the oppisite of the dictionary definiion maning that per the dictionary I would call myself a liberal. Per politics I am a solid Copnservative)

1. The governement the governs least governs best.

2. The Federal governments PRIMARY responsibility is for the common defense.

3. I believe Taxes are too high and should be cut.

4. I believe the 2nd ammendment is how I guarantee that I get to keep ALL of my other rights. You erode the 2nd ammendmant and all other rights will suffer.

5. I believe social programs should be limited in scope. NO ONE for ANY reason should be ALLOWED to remain on govt social programs for more than a SET period of time.

6. I believe socialisms destroys people. It breaks down the human animal, removes pride and purpose from the lives it is suposed to help leaving empty shells.
