California Democratic Primary Election

Ernest Said:

Your Opinion: Would Robert Kennedy have been president if he hadn't been assassinated?

We Answered:

Probably, besides having the Kennedy machine backing him, he was very charismatic and intelligent on his own. Humphrey was an absolutely horrible candidate, appealing only to the hardline Democrats. Pretty much along the same lines as Gore or Kerry. Bobby Kennedy was way more appealing to a broader spectrum of the electorate.

Katherine Said:

Are delegates from some states worth more in the democratic presidential primary?

We Answered:

They also tend to give African American areas more delegates than other areas.

Terry Said:

Presidential Election Primaries?

We Answered:

I have noticed the same thing. Actually I think it is a given that whoever wins the Democratic nomination will be the next president. The media knows that so they don't bother with covering the Republican primaries with as much zeal.

Darlene Said:

Is It True That Puerto Rico's Primary, Is A Winner-Take-All?

We Answered:

This would be an AMAZING story if it turns out to be true.

But to answer your question, I don't think Puerto Rico is being unfair by being winner-take-all. By being the last primary, they've never made a difference in the nominating process and they followed the rules by not moving their primary forward like Florida did.

In fact, if Clinton and Obama are tied by the time PR has their primary, then they will actually SAVE the Democrats from having the dreaded brokered convention.
