Neither want real campaign reform, they both want the money.
The Democrats have just as much money as the Republicans.
The Republicans think the taxes on big business, the small businessman, corporations and investors should be lowered. The taxes will come from income-taxes, fees, fines, and assessments from the poor and middle class.
When there is a shortage of money raised by taxes, then the entitlements are eliminated or reduced on the working class.
No cost of living on social security, school funding, road construction or medicare reimbursements, etc.. the rich gain and the poor loose with the Republicans every time.

I would say Libertarian. By the way, I would say that neither the Democrats or Republicans resemble the beliefs of the founding fathers anymore.

Remember that the founding fathers were against having any type of standing army. And they certainly did not believe the Government had any right or duty to force the values of a few on the many.

I don't know the democrat view really as I'm more in the middle.

But I think we should stay out of it unless specifically given some "sign" by the people. I'm sure we have spies there etc who can get this info.

I know many will give me a thumbs down, but their dislike of us is partially due to the meddling in their history.

The reality is that I'm likely more libertarian. I honestly don't think it's my business to save the world. I can think of better things to do with my tax money, like fix our country! I think if these people want to get rid of one leader in favor of the other, they'll do it on their own. We don't know if one is "better" than the other, but they have to fight for what they want. If they want it badly enough that is.

And like I've said elsewhere, I find it odd that people want to spend their tax dollars to help the citizens of another country (whether they ask for it or not), but not our own. I'd prefer to keep our tax dollars here.

Whew, tough question. I don't think either side, at least on average views as anything but a horrible necessity. But both are trying to deny that any of the causes for it are their fault and are trying to blame it all on the other party.
