The Orwell novel focused on the domestic aspects of a paternal government, while this production focuses on a larger perspective, integrates both, and presents them in an unbiased manner. It is quite an indictment, of both national parties. Wire tapping, and other violations of individual rights, and freedom are but symptoms of a larger issue; totalitarianism.

We do have the best health care in the world. Not only that but what happens to the millions and millions of jobs in the private health care industry. Health care is one of the top two fields to work in here in the United States and it's a recession proof job. Also, supply and demand would come into play here. The demand of patients would SKYROCKET while the supply of medical care facilities would remain the same resulting in a massive increase in costs.

Waiting lines for emergency care would begin and to get a surgery you would have to wait a very long time, you might die before you get it. America has the best medical research in the world and free market health care enables this.

I've spoken to many people about their experiences with universal health care. A guy I knew lived in Canada and when his father had a heart attack, it took 52 hours to treat him so he died.

The number isn't 75 million, I don't know where you got that from. The number is 47 million, but do you even know the breakdown for that?The breakdown is the following:

-10 million illegal immigrants
-15 million eligible for Medicaid but don't apply.
-15 million adults who have children eligible for free health care
-10 million childless adults

And one last fact. Do you know what one of the most profitable industries is now in England? Private health care facilities for the rich. They avoid going to these dreaded hospitals and using the crappy government insurance so the gap only increases between the bottom and top.

Everything Obama has done so far is unconstitutional, & yet congress let's him get by with it, I think when election times comes, we all should vote them ALL out & put in a leadership that will honor the constitution of the USA.
