the Ouotgoing Isreali PM pretty much acknowleged that they would have to start working on a solution which allows compromises as you mentioned. a two state solution seems to be the answer cuz Isreal has a lower birth rate and they would eventually be swamped in any type of one-party state.

the Palestinian Issue is where we should've been concentrating our $1 trillion instead of destroying Iraq and thus empowering and Embolding Iran.

there wouldn't be a palestinian problem if the arab nations recognized the UN partition of 1948. israel is historically the home of the jews. there were only muslims from the 7th century onwards. and israel was not under muslim control until it was invaded by the arab conquests. even after the arab conquests, jews continued to live there. the historical map of israel is far bigger than what it is now. and the word palestinian was the name given by romans to the israelites when they occupied the country. the modern term of palestinian was invented by the late terrorist leader yassir arafat who ironically is not a palestinian but an egyptian from cairo.

They were constantly in battle with the Federalists. Sound familiar? They publicly criticised Hamiliton and his proponents for opposiing Genet about Franco-American policies. They also disagreed about policies with Britain. The Dem/Repubs thought no country should be a monarchy while the Federalists disagreed. They wanted to denounce the Jay Treaty. All of these issues and more went back to the Revolution. The Federalists had a lot of support from southern planters but the Jay Treaty issue swung the vote towards the Dem/Repubs.
