If you are gay, you may want to move to a more gay friendly area. San Francisco might be a better choice.

You should also consider going to an ivy league school like Yale or Harvard and then pursue a law degree. You will want to become involved in the Military-Industrial-Congressional complex. You cannot have a pure soul and expect to become president of the US.

You should also study US foreign policy since WWII using reading material from an expert like Professor Noam Chomsky of MIT. You will discover that the US Military and CIA have been attempting to monopolize world resources (labor and material) since WWII.

If you have a conscience, you could do a lot better for the world by becoming another Mr. Ralph Nader. He has saved millions of lives. Most presidents of the US have cost the world millions of lives.

Asker, I do believe that Rove, Schmidt and Davis have a genuine disdain for the average voter. They simply do not believe that there are enough intelligent, perceptive, "tuned in" voters out there for them to worry about being accurate or honest or consistent.

I have been around for many elections and I have never, in all my life, seen a more extensive use of blatant lies. Indeed, the sheer arrogance and audacity of Rick Davis publicly saying the election wasn't about issues, but rather about personalities illustrated perfectly what I mean.

Obama recently commented to an audience, "They must think you're stupid." He meant it--he meant to point out that the Republican strategies are relying on the electorate being too stupid to comprehend the issues at hand, too lazy to do any fact checking and too gullible to avoid falling prey to a well-massaged message.

The person with the asian symbols instead of a name wrote: "Listen carefully, Obama could have picked Kaine as a running mate, but considering that he had no experience whatsoever, it would've been a train wreck. You'd have two inexperienced people on the ticket. McCain already has experience, so he can afford to train a relatively young up and comer. How is that so hard to understand?"

McCain can "afford" to train someone? McCain?????

WHAT ABOUT US? It's not McCain's right to put US at risk while he's training someone who has barely put one thought to issues outside of her own state!!!!

And that's why, in spite of what he knew would be the exact criticism you laid at his feet, Obama chose Biden: IT WAS THE RESPONSIBLE THING TO DO, NOT THE "POLITICAL" THING TO DO.

Governor. Obama is the first Senator in US history to become president. Many past presidents were governors first.
