Party history has changed throughout history. One thing that stands out to me is that today Conservatives stand for equal rights for all people under the law. No favoritism for any race or ethnicity. Just plain and simple equality under the law.

In 64 Johnson won by a landslide as a mandate to pass Kennedy's agenda after his assassination.

I assume that's why they voted Democrat in 64.

I don't know why they vote Republican otherwise. I've heard the alcoholism rate in Alaska is very high. That might explain it.

It is so refreshing to find someone who actually knows history. Yes the Republican party is responsible for all of these achievements but our liberal schools teach that it was democrats. This is the lowest type of lies and the rankest sort of propaganda. You must have spent a considerable amount of time doing research in the library to uncover the truth.

The only achievements the Dem's can lay credit to that I know of is equal rights for sexual deviants and free and unlimited abortion for children without parental consent or even notification.They are currently working on totally open borders so the illegal immigrants, drug smugglers and other foreign criminals can come to America more easily and stay here forever.
Oh, and with the help of the ACLU they are attempting to get all the terrorist released and sent back to their home countries so they can return to trying to destroy our country.
Let us never forget that terrorist have the right to destroy our country without being deterred by something as vicious as the Patriot Act. Yes, every time we track the terrorist money or tap their phone calls to try and protect our country it is a gross violation of the terrorists rights.
