Ida Said:
If Hillary Clinton loses in both Texas and Ohio tomorrow, should she quit the race?We Answered:
To quote her husband "YES" she must win both to continue. Further if you do the math, it is hard to imagine a scenario in which she splits the vote with Sen. Obama and can come out on top. The only way she could capture the nomination is to win over the the Super Delegates which seems even harder given the momentum Sen. Obama has generated. I'm afraid either way she is done.Natalie Said:
Is this "democracy" the Democratic Party way?We Answered:
He's right. They both need to vote now. What is happening here is a stance to propell themselves into the White House in '08. The Democrats do not care about the conflict the casualties or the soldiers. They ony care about getting into office.
It is sad that they stoop this low.
Look at the last election. The Democrats said "vote for me and I'll get us out of Iraq". What have they done?
Nothing.
They are only dragging this out over the next two years as much as possible to use the war in Iraq to gain the whitehouse. There is no care for our Soldiers by using them that way. They don't care how many die, they just care about gaining power. If they cared about dying Soldiers, we would have had a plan to bring them home by now.
Stanley Said:
Why would the Democratic party ever give Obama the nomination if it ensures defeat???We Answered:
Yeah, I find that strange too...There is something more to it, something has not been released, and it will.
Not to mention, if the DNC don't seat Florida and Michigan, they may go Republican...
So they may have to.
I know Florida will go Repub.
Edit:
Key to who wins ...
"Ohio"
"Florida"
If McCain gets those Obama can say goodbye, yet Hillary leads there...
Jennie Said:
Will the "SUPERDELEGATES" unite the party or divide the democratic Party? We Answered:
I believe in the end they will unite the party and do their best to do so. In the end many superdelegates will be suppoting Barack Obama. If the superdelegates go around Hillary its going to cause an uproar and completly break the party instead of uniting it. They will go with the canidate with the more states, popular vote, delegate lead. I also believe it's only right seeing Obama has won just about in every category against Hillary.Tanya Said:
Was the gentleman voter from Ohio who appeared on 60 minutes last night? We Answered:
Was he an old man? I think that old people are more susceptible to rumor and fear mongering because they don't have the resources to find out the truth. Then again, there are some people (of all ages) prefer to not think at all and just want someone to tell them what to do. This goes for both side Democrates and Republicans.
Independents are really the only group who will not allow the governement to spin the truth regardless of who it favors.
Lynn Said:
Do you think Senator Clinton is going to prod along and fracture the party rather than unify the party now?We Answered:
She's not saying because she doesnt want to have any negative spin on her campaign before tomorrow. But if she loses either texas or ohio, she's out. Everyone knows that.
Mae Said:
Is the Democratic Party Divided for Good?We Answered:
If Obama is the nominee then yes the party will be divided, Obama has the support of the democrat elite and Hillary has the support of working men and women. These "Reagan democrats" will vote for McCain over Obama or just sit it out, giving McCain the presidency. Blue collar democrats will not vote for a uppity black man, it reminds them of how they are passed over promotions by a less experienced black man because of affirmative action in their jobs. There is alot of resentment in that aspect. The democrat party or the elites have done it again if Obama wins the nomination, they will put a loser just like they did in 2004 when "botox Kerry" was the nominee.
