No, FDR was progressive. If the democrats now were truly progressive healthcare would have been hammered through both house and senate with the bully pulpit and we would have real healthcare. This garbage that has been hoisted on us once again is appalling and an abomination of unconchable rhetoric spewed out in defense of the healthcare companies profits. That's not progressive its sheepish and cowardly. The true progressives of our country have stood for what was right and pushed until dreams became realities. Right now we the people don't have adequate representation. The jokers on capitol hill trade whats right for what pays everyday. Some people may think I am painting with a broad brush, but I think we have been ripped off so long by our government that we can't get a genuinely good bill through congress.

Sarah Palin is brilliant and articulate and, in Alaska politics, is a breath of fresh air as an alternative to their corruption epitomized by Ted Stevens "Bridge to Nowhere", She Veto'd the "Bridge" Earmark.  Now Obama, who has spent two years preventing a woman from being president, Now McCain has vividly demonstrated the difference.  Sarah Palin is no Dick Cheney!

She wants to clean up Pork Barrel spending. That alone qualifies her by my standards. $Millions in farm subsidies are right now going to New York Penthouse executives that aren't even farmers, they own a vacant piece of land and claim they farm. Outrageous Pork Govt. giveaways! That's the Democratic corruption she will attack.
