Manipulaiton of legal system. 8 federal prosecutors were fired (7 were "fired-up guys and straightshooters - Deputy Attorney General testimony before Congress). They were investigating and prosecuting members of government for corruption and voting fraud.

Many states do not have paper trail. Voting machine s were tampered with. This is real. It happened.

Voters are not informed. John Kerry would not pull the troops out. His foreign policy is the same as Bush's. George Bush's tax cuts: most people got $300, all the money went to the wealthiest 1%.

Journalist are under attack too. The agreement between journalists and their sources is "Give me the information, and I won't give you out." But the new rule of the first amemndemnt bar is that journalists must give their sources even if there is no reason for the request. Give your sources and lose your career, or go to jail. Several excellent US journalists are sitting in jail right now.

Government usualy attacks journalists in these terms: when you journalists publish leaks you put the public in danger. For example, when police was looking for the Washington sniper, a newspaper published the color and model of their van, that could have lead to a "blood bath." Bullshit! Yes there is a risk with publishing leaks. But, any process done in secrecy is bound to produce a bad result! Press is a nother branch of democracy that puts a check on the government.

Media ownership. For example, news channels aired "documentaries" about Vietnam Veterans Against Kerry or Howard Deans embarassing eehhaa moment so much; showed Bush on his ranch. Think how many times you saw Bush give somebody the middle finger on TV? It was aired once on Comedy Central and once on VH1. That's it.

BIG PROBLEM with abortion and gay marriage:
Bush, senators and representative who run on abortion and marriage have pro corporate, antidemocratic stance on most other issues. If you a genuinely pro-life, fine, but give free childcare and good schools too!

Antiterrorism is used to get very strong grip on government so that the current administration and it's financiers will control our government in the future.

This war on terror is really a war on democracy.
