Democratic Voting Guide

Monica Said:

why do liberals join the democratic party?

We Answered:

Okay, this is a a complicated matter. First and foremost, we need our voices heard. The Democratic Party gives us a national platform. Plus, just being liberal isn't being extreamist. I read an article about Greens, who wanttotal restructuring of the ecomy, which wile is great, is not sensible. If a true liberal yet sensible party devolped it would die, as less than 17% of Americans identify them as liberal. Plus, since most are Democrats, ur taking away 17% of the vote from Dems. Now the country is run by conservitive Republicans, Yikes. On the war,Bush and his team lied Dems, causing them to approve the war. He claimed there were Weapons Of Mass Desstruction, but there weren't. An effort by Rep. Dennis Kuninch (D-OH) to impeach Bush and a seperate effort by him to impeach Bush is underway. Supprort it.

Elsie Said:

Are you enjoying your democratic congress yet????

We Answered:

“[W]e promised the American people that we would have the most honest and most open government and we will.” (Nancy Pelosi press stakeout, December 6, 2006). Its liers like her that put a bad name on America. Nancy Pelooney John Kerry Harry Reid are just a few of the traitors that are representing our country. I don't understand if they hate a free society why don't they go move to china or russia or Venezuela I am sure them and Chavez would have a good time telling people what is best to with their money.

Roger Said:

If Obama promised you the world, would you run down and vote for him?

We Answered:

While I don't exactly think the world of McCain, he is, nonetheless, a slight improvement over Obama. Ron Paul would be far more diligent in seeing to the restoration of Constitutional restraints on government and of our personal Liberties.

But, then, as your question alludes to, where is the power of even Ron Paul to accomplish this, given the limited powers of the Executive branch?

Congress is granted (by my count) 60 to 65 specific, broad powers. The President has 4 powers requiring Senate approval and 4 more, free of Senate approval. Among them? He can greet foreign dignitaries (wow! break out the battering rams).

The real issues we have with D.C. are mistakenly attributed to 1600 Penn.

In fact, they originate and are finalized down the road a bit on Capitol Hill.

I say, vote for any cute wump-monkey you find properly cuddly for president because it won't make any more difference than it ever has.

BUT!!!!

Vote OUT the entire, incumbent Congress (both houses) and replace them with conscientious servants who've signed a sworn affidavit promising to restore our Constitution.

Vivian Said:

Are republicans jealous of the Democratic Parties energy, enthusiasm, and leadership in healing America?

We Answered:

The stubborn Bush partisans don't think anything is wrong. They want to stay the course.

Alex Said:

If laissez faire works, then why not (lack of government) anarchy?

We Answered:

our act of human nature wont allow that.If you want a place to be safe you must have authorities to make the rules and regulation works.just imagine if we all are set loose from law, what would it be like....
