Is Obama A Democrat Or A Republican

Gina Said:

Could Obama really have this far with just black support?

We Answered:

It is a significant number because in many of the souther states such as North and South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, etc the black voter was as much as 35-50% of the primary vote. Obama gained enough white votes to make overwhelming victories. However, in the general election those voters who have brought Obama within striking distance of the nomination will be very diluted (12% as you pointed out). Democrat nominees have consistently won the majority of that 12%, but general elections have always been won by carrying the moderate swing voters that the media offensively calls "lower educated white voters". No matter what Obama supporters believe, those voters have consistently gone with moderate candidates and never liberals. Obama may win the nomination, but he will lose the general election in a landslide.

Ruby Said:

According to exit polls, 9 out of 10 blacks vote for OBAMA/democrat why is this?

We Answered:

It sounds like reverse racism and has been going on in this country, quietly, for many years. As for blacks voting for democrats - it is common knowledge that the democratic party is more "sympathetic" to the voters. They would like to provide everyone with health care, give only the lower income tax breaks, fund more government-paid programs (which really means the successful taxpayers support the unsuccessful taxpayers), etc. It is also common knowledge that the majority of welfare recipients are black...so doesn't it seem to reason that they would also be for a politician that promises to "give" them more?

LovingLife - you deliberately missed the point. The numbers are on black voters that voted for Obama, not white. It really doesn't matter how many white people voted for Obama when considering the statistics of how many black people voted for Obama.

LovingLife part 2 - I really didn't mean to slur you by that comment, sorry you took it so personally. For instance, I know there are trashy white people, but refuse to see that as a reflection on myself. I have no control over how they live and do not align myself with them. As for the link you gave...did you even notice your info was from 1994? Geesh, let's get into the present. Here's one for you that is more current, if you have the guts to read it. And, again, please don't take this personally...facts are facts.

abrasumente - you so miss the entire picture because you are only seeing in black and white. You keep saying "one of our own kind." Is Obama a human being, like the rest of the voting public? Yes, and that is how I see him. He is not weak because of his skin color, as you suggest I think. He is weak because of his voting record, experience, and proposed policy changes. That is my opinion and why I will not vote for him. Yes, I am white, and yes, he is black. If you choose to hold on to the old ways, then you will never move forward into the "real world" of our future. If Condy Rice were running, I would have voted for her because I respect what she is doing and what she has done.

Ryan Said:

Obama (Democrat) President & Rebublican VP-2 Unify? Let The People Decide?

We Answered:

I think a Democratic President would do well to have a carefully considered Republican in their cabinet, at least. Same the other way 'round. As it specifically applies to Obama, though, it would certainly go some way to providing veracity to his 'consensus-builder' tag.

And even though I'm not a libertarian, they'd also both do well to have a very well chosen libertarian floating around.

Charlene Said:

Why do you think Colin Powell just announced that he is supporting Democrat Obama over Republican McCain?

We Answered:

Colin Powell supports the Iraq war so I don't see why Democrats are so happy.

Fernando Said:

Don't you love to hear Obama/Democrat haters whine?

We Answered:

Obama had an agenda from the get go and he didn't care how it would effect anyone or at any cost to the tax payers.

There were already programs in place for anyone that couldn't afford health insurance.
All that needed to be done was reform and regulations within the insurance industry.

Floyd Said:

Can any Obama/Democrat bashers explain this GOP move for me?

We Answered:

Maybe the Repubs thought too many sand baggers would be streaming in to take advantage of the free benefits. This happens a lot when the government starts picking up medical bills.

Patrick Said:

Is most gun violence in Chicago committed by republican supporters or Obama supporters?

We Answered:

President Osama supporters.
