Liberal Democrat Manifesto

Neil Said:

Since the shooter was a registered Democrat and also worked on Dodd's campaign does that make him a liberal?

We Answered:

When you add his drug usage his actions in junior college, and his promotion of the Communist Manifesto then it does in my opinion

Travis Said:

Is this the worst political party manifesto ever?

We Answered:

I watched Cleggy unfold his fairy tale on BBC TV this morning, I'm very fortunate and live in the country so I can place the TV set against a backdrop of a 7 foot by 9 foot picturesque window with a wonderful view of miles of open countryside.
Concurrently as the manifesto unfolded a flight took off from the local animal farm. The squadron leader was a hippopotamus closed guarded by a fighter protection of 12 flying pigs, in the rear were 6 bombing elephants.
Unfortunately local farmer Cecil was so amazed by this unusual sight that he tripped over a rabbit hole and accidentally harmlessly triggered off his shotgun. The flypast was so started by the loud bang that they heavily decorated the countryside so that it now looks like material from the manifesto.

Jean Said:

Did the manifesto of the liberal democrats at the last election promise a referendum on the EU?

We Answered:

Yes....The wording was/is as follows...
We are therefore clear in our support for the Constitution, which we believe is in Britain’s interest – but ratification must be subject to a *referendum* of the British people.

Just like Labour they have chosen to ignore their promise under the pretence that the Lisbon Treaty is not the Constitution.LIARS!!

Jeffery Said:

What is the difference between the Labour party and the Liberal democrats?

We Answered:

All the parties compromise their principles once in Government. Pragmatists tend to stay in office. All believe in a mixed free market economy, tempered by varying amounts of Government intervention.

Big Government took over the money supply because the financial institutions were too corrupt to be capable of it any longer, and the alternative was a run on the banks and the catastrophic collapse of the whole economy.

The main difference is the composition of their core vote. Labour traditionally gets its support from the urban working class with a fair smattering of middle-class ideologues and centralisers. More recently, they have been rebranded by image consultants, with little recognisable principle and a breaking relationship with their traditional backers - the trades unions.

The LibDems' core vote are from the eccentric thinking middle class, comprising a hotch-potch of teachers, professors, mad scientists, and Celtic tribalists. They don't try very hard to be coherent or agree with each other (since independence of thought is a key principle), and required the discipline of the SDP to make them a serious national force, albeit at the expense of their principle of free thought. Economically, they have drifted toward the right under Clegg, but the basic idea of devolving power and the means of production to the village remains. Quite how this tallies with the EU's central directives beats me.

Heidi Said:

in the upcoming elections do you think Scotland should be independent from England?

We Answered:

I'm an American also, and admit that I don't know the specifics. However, the issue of Scotland's indendence is how old? A thousand years or so? It's not going to go away.

Scotland's financial problems can work out in a few years. And, who can guess what will happen with the European or the world economy. Consider global warming, overpopulation, US foreign policy, militant Islam, and the ever changing policies of Britain. The one constant is the cry for independence in Scotland. In other words, if I were a UK voter, I'd vote on the basis of whether I thought Scotland should be independent, and I'd disregard the economic consequences unless they were more compelling and certain.
