No one knew that foreclosures were being signed and approved without even proper documentation or anyone looking to see if it was a legitimate foreclosure.

I am not a liberal and yet I have lived in many European countries and awhile in Canada for my career. I still paid American taxes. People do not move to other countries to make a political statement. That would be ridiculous and I have never met a American abroad who left the US because they had enough of American politics. We do it for adventure or career or both.

Just like a lot of church missionaries that go abroad.... I doubt that many of them are liberal.

People make such sweeping generalizations about liberals and conservatives... that kind of talk just sounds naive to me.

Republicans always have their act together because they are used to dealing with a hostile press that keeps them on their toes. They expect to be grilled.

Democrats never get grilled until the last month of the campaign when the general public pushes the press to ask things like:

...Why does Michael Dukakis still think giving a horrible person like Willie Horton a furlough was a defensible idea?

...Why does Al Gore seem to change his personality on a day-to-day basis?

...Why does John Kerry seem proud to take both sides of every issue?

...Why does Obama seem to play down the executive experience he got by working the CAC Board that Will Ayers created? Why does he expect us to overlook that he began running for the President after only 143 days in the Senate? Why are we supposed to believe he is bipartisan when he has taken the most liberal position on 65 out of 66 votes in 2007.



Meanwhile, the press narrative has overplayed things like McCain voting with Bush 90% of the time....yeah on procedural matters---anyone with a brain remembers how critical McCain was of the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld plan for occupation in Iraq and how critical a role McCain played in fixing the policy and allowing us to win, while Biden and Obama would've already lost it.


In reality, the liberal press has proven to be a blessing for Republicans.

Unelectable? Are you a Republican? What does Hillary have going for her? People want change, but in the right direction. Obama's the only really candidate for change, we've already been through the Clinton campaign. There are some good republicans, but a lot of them are just following Bush. I've got nothing against them though, just Hillary.

I don't mind Republicans or Democrats speaking up when they're not in power -- or Hispanics, or blacks, or women, or whatever.

What I do mind is our media only, or mainly, covering the views of the minority. There was a huge anti-war protest in Wa DC in March. Tens of thousands showed up. At the same time about 2,000 Tea Partiers went out to protest. The "news" covered the Tea Partiers for days and days, but didn't mention the war protesters. The Tea Partiers vote Republican, and Republicans support big business, and the media is big business.
