NONE of the Democrats in Congress like Obama's idea. They all think he's just a sell-out. It's come to a pretty sad state of affairs when the Democrats have to block their own president.

If the Dems could only all get together, like the Republicans, they'd really be a force to deal with. The Republicans have -always- been the minority party in terms of voter registrations nationwide. The only way they succeed is by all voting together like sheep, all following their leaders and voting as they're told. If the Democrats did that, they could beat the Repubs every time.

Back when Reagan was running for president in 1980, a friend of mine said he'd vote for Reagan because 'I don't care if rich people get a big tax cut so long as I get a little tax cut'. I thought that was stupid at the time, and I feel history has totally vindicated me. But the opposite is true. You and I don't mind getting a small tax hike if the rich get a LARGE tax hike. They -still- won't be paying their fair share.

But apparently we'll do once more what the Republicans always do. Balance the budget by spending MORE and taxing LESS. It hasn't worked so far, has it? Maybe the Republicans figure their luck has to change sometime. 8^)

E. Clinton pardon-gate? You should look at George H.W Bush's pardons if you think Clinton was scandalous. They are far worse than Clinton's pardons.

This is the most current scandal of the Democratic party. And, even the Democratic party wants him convicted. This is a whole lot more than the GOP wanted from their own crooks in their party. Quit frankly the GOP rewards their criminals in their party.

G. Only a GOP con are prudes enough to think a ******** is a scandal.

H. Yes, you're right, but there have been many people who are Republicans convicted of the same thing. Rep Janklow was a Republican member of the House of Representatives convicted of the same thing as is Rep. Ted Stevans of Alaska including fraud.

L. Vince Foster was never murdered, he committed suicide. Even Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr found that to be true after an extensive investigation and a waste of taxpayers money.

M. Sen. Carol Moseley Braun never hid 28750 of medicaid money, she'd be in prison if she had.

V. Clinton used FBI to compile enemies list? So did Nixon, Reagan and Bush jr as did Cheney.

The Interior Department's inspector general delivered three reports to Congress outlining alleged wrongdoing by at least 12 current and former employees of the Mineral Management Service in Denver and Washington, D.C.

Inspector General Earl E. Devaney wrote that the investigation revealed "a culture of ethical failure" in which government employees accepted golf and ski trips from oil company employees, The New York Times reported.

Nearly a one-third of the 55-person staff in the Denver office received gifts and gratuities from oil and gas companies between 2002 and 2006, the investigators found.

Z. Spitzer stepped down for his illegal use of prostitution. However, David Vitter has admitted to going to prostitutes several times and never stepped down from his congressional seat. He was applauded loudly by his fellow GOP congressmen when he came back from break. Gee, funny how you don't mention that fact in your condemnation of a Democrat.

There are plenty of scandals to go around. But the fact remains that the GOP is the king of corruption as far as political parties go. And, they don't even care if their fellow members of their party are corrupt or not. Why is that. It's because their entire party is corrupt. At least the Dems are trying to clean up their own party. You can't say that about the GOP at all. Even you precious Ronald Reagan was a liar and a crook who helped terrorist nations and helped fund terrorist death squads in 3rd world countries.
