Ohio Democratic Party

Monica Said:

If Obama is the democratic nominee, will this be bad for the democratic party?

We Answered:

There is a very good reason why Obama would not make a winning presidential candidate and it is apparent to all that have the courage to admit it:
The people that are strongly supporting Obama are not consistent enough to count on in the general election and many will go with the status quo when it comes to the election....you have to admit that this country does not accept widespread change easily or quickly. For Obama to win, there will have to be a large amount of white voters supporting him and there is still alot of closet cases that believe there should not be a black man in power.

Katrina Said:

Does Hillary Clinton still have a realistic chance at winning the Democratic party's nomination?

We Answered:

Yes. She will buy all the superdelegates she needs to win the nomination, then invite Osama to be her VP. Watch and see...

Julia Said:

How is it that Hillary Clinton could win both Texas and Ohio and still lose the Democratic nomination?

We Answered:

Easy.

Dems don't have any "winner take all" states. They split all of them proportionally.

That means that even if Hillary gets 55% of the vote in both states, Barak will get 45% of the delegates, and he has enough of a lead that he could beat her handily by winning the other smaller states.

It's all in the numbers. I don't have the exact numbers, but I'll guess so you can see how it works:

Obama currently has about 1190 delegates
Hillary currently has about 1130 delegates

Texas is worth about 300
Ohio is worth about 150

If Hillary gets 55% and Obama gets 45%, this is where they'll stand:

1190 + (45% of 450) = 1392.5
1130 + (55% of 450) = 1377.5

See how that works?

Tommy Said:

Why is OHIO state leaning Democratic in this elections?

We Answered:

Economy
Constitution
Taxes

Antonio Said:

With the mass exodus of Clinton supporters out of the Democratic Party how far will Obama fall behind McCain?

We Answered:

Yeah you sure know a lot about politics....so Obama's voter collation is the "typical" block that usually wins. Instead he is focusing in on youth appeal bringing the young into the democratic party there by setting up the dems for many many future wins. What do you think is going to happen when the baby boomers die off? That mass conservative extinction is going to liberalize America. Anyways for now Obama is trying to win Ohio, he is going after other new battleground states that better fits his voting block...(yes it is possible to win without Ohio).
