Republican And Democrat Beliefs

Marcus Said:

Where can I find the a website that points out the difference between republican and democrat's beliefs?

We Answered:

Try this site:

and this one:

Joel Said:

What are some Republican beliefs? What are Democrat beliefs? What are the Liberal's beliefs?

We Answered:

Traditionally Republicans believed in small government that did not invade the privacy of individuals. They believed in lower taxes, a strong national defense... but NOT involving ourselves in foreign conflicts.

Traditionally Democrats believed in unionization, a certain degree of socialization that might benefit elderly people and children, and the right of citizens not to be spied on by government.

Liberals are a category that can be both democratic or republican. Conservatives, likewise, may be in either party... this called a spectrum of political belief.

There are, currently very few real conservatives... the people that you may identify as Bush supporters are not exactly true Republicans, in that they have no problem with government intruding in our private lives. This is because of the influence of the Christian right and corporations in our current system.

There are also very few self described liberals... because the word has been made dirty by relentless propaganda.

Lillie Said:

Are you a Democrat against Republican beliefs?

We Answered:

Republicans can only handle one belief about every topic, and usually they don't even use their own brain. Someone tells Republicans what to believe and they all say "YES SIR". This is retarded, and it is not freedom.

Nicholas Said:

Do you like Republican beliefs or Democrat beliefs?

We Answered:

I like some from each side. I also dislike some from each side. That's why it's so important to vote for a candidate, not a political party.

Someone who says they only like one side either has extensive knowledge of the party and is in line with them 100%, or simply votes by the (R) or the (D) endorsement, which is not an intelligent way to live life or vote.

Jenny Said:

My friend insists that I am Liberal and have more democrat beliefs then republican, is he right?

We Answered:

You sound like more of a Republican than a Democrat to me. But why register as either? Political parties are overrated and there is no need to align yourself with any party. Just register as an independent and vote for whatever candidates please you the most, regardless of his or her party identification.

And to clear things up with your friend: you definitely sound more conservative to me. I'm not sure why he would think you have more Democratic beliefs. by the way, I'm glad you don't support that garbage that passed in CA called Proposition 8.
