They fall for the shell game. Democrat politicians like to give big talk to taxing the rich and making them pay their fair share. People believe that things like first time home buyer tax credits and cash for clunkers is being done to help them, the little guy. They don't take the time to stop and think that these things were actually done to provide more bailouts for the auto and mortgage/housing industries... the very folks they publicly admonish for being so irresponsible. What can I say? People are gullible.

Have you ever noticed that when liberals are losing an argument, they will often resort to calling their opponent "fascist" or "nazi?"

Same goes for conservatives - whenever they start losing, they’ll fall back on the old standby of calling their opponent "socialist" or "communist."

You've got to stop and think.I was born in 65',Hippies were the mainstream still when i was 5.I was pushed by the liberal media,the anti war protesters,The music,the drug culture,and the anti military crowd etc.Nothings really changed since then.Remember when MTV came out and all they showed was video's.Now they are bombarded with leftist messages,global warming,corporations are bad etc,not a lot has changed,but as I got older,Understood Reagan and what conservatism and love of country was,my minds changed to conservatism.I see things for what they are.It comes with age and understanding what it means to be independent from being a victim of government and its socialist programs.You start to believe in what matters and knowing what is Bullshit as you get older(at least most people do)That is why for the left,the young are impressionable and like shooting fish in a barrel.It takes a little life experience.

It's not time yet. Once there is a Democrat in office they will have the power to move forward and no one there to pardon everyone. But if they don't start taking action beginning January 21, 2009, I would say at that time we got screwed by both parties.
