No, you do not have to re-register to vote. As long as your name, address etc have not changed (which you already verified) you will be fine. just make sure you have your drivers license or state id card with you when you go to vote. I had to re-register because I got married this year and so needed to change my name. You also shouldn't have to have your voter registration card with you at the polls but if you have it, take it with you just in case.Larry Said:

I think (but can't rightly remember) that in 2000 it was something like 49% and in 2004 about 32%. You might want to try and contact the Federal Election Commission who keep records on abstention rates (although they coin the phrase "turnout" as opposed to absentation rate)Alice Said:

There were a lot of allegations, there were court cases etc. There was a lot of information coming out at the time. In the end, the courts decided that the irregularities weren't enough to overturn the results.Carlos Said:
