I wasn't going to be happy with it either way. I was not an Obama, or a McCain supporter. Given their political platforms, I would have wanted Obama because of platform minus his tax-increase, and his lack of political experience. McCain on the other hand, had a whole bunch of political experience, but I did not agree with all of his platforms. Needless to say, our country would still be in trouble no matter who got elected.

But look on the bright side! We survived Bush (so far), I'm sure we can survive whatever this country throws at us next. I am very happy for Obama and his victory, but I am also disappointed that the choices were somewhat limited amongst the candidates.

As with any pollster predicting an election, the results are easily verifiable. It is in a pollster's best interest to be as accurate as possible with election results as they can be compared to the actual results.

It is impossible however to say whether ANY opinion poll is accurate as there are no actual results to compare it to. There can be bias in the polling of any opinion questions, regardless of who is performing the poll. No one can point to an actual result and declare "see how accurate this opinion poll was?"

Because some are prejudiced, some are scared of losing their money (as if we havent already on this stupid war) because they are bitter conservatives who want things there way, and only have one way of thinking. They are like robots.
