No. I believe that Krugman may be correct that the stimulus is too small but the objective is try to lessen the adverse impact of our economic decline. Doing nothing means that the country falls further into the recession and meanwhile the government does nothing while people are suffering. That is entirely unacceptable.

The winner of the stimulus battle will win more seats in Congress in 2010 because the American people are supportive of a government that is making efforts on behalf of their interests.
