No, you're not naive. I thought so, too, and I live in California. So much for being a "liberal" state. A liberal state with discrimination. Don't worry. I was so angry at first, but I know this is not the end. I am hoping it will be overturned by Congress or the Supreme Court somehow, but if not, perhaps in a few more years when more people turn 18 and are eligible to vote, things will change.

This proposition was funded by out of state organizations and religious fanatics. Funny that the proposition to enact a waiting period for parental notification for minors wanting an abortion did not pass. You'd think these people would care more to pass that prop. than #8. What can I say, our state is whacked.

I think it will come when the polls close at 8 PST. I want to know how it was on prop 8! Remember that CNN will mostly likely not tell us about the results in California, specially. Try watching one of the local networks to see the results. I love California!

All you really need to know is the props went down in flames! We told the weasels in Sacramento to go pound sand. No more tax increases.

But Karen Bass (Assembly speaker) said voters were "confused" about the election. There was noting confusing about how we are being taxed to death and we can't afford to pay more and they are wasting OUR money. Gee, sounds like Washington DC.
