You won't get much answers on here as you can see. Just rants. I think one has tried to answer.I would look at the many forum posts made around that time like on BBC Blether With Brian, The Scotsman, Cal Merc, Bella Caledonia, Newsnet (below). This would serve you better.
Even overlooking independence, there is high support in Scotland for maximum devolution powers. This would render Westminster irrelevant and change the face of the UK. As one Union commentator put it, it is independence all but in name.
It is not something supported by the three Union parties. They don't even acknowledge it. Labour would rather have Tory in charge. Labour's allegiance is with the Union.

Seven points behind, and the election is Nov 2! She has done well! I'd say after the last upsets in Missouri and Massachusetts, she's in great shape! Watch the papers though. The Boston Globe's lead one day (above the fold) was "Coakley Ahead by 15 Points." Anybody following the race, knew it was a LIE. Scott was ahead by 5! Then, he won! There is a liberal blatant bias in the print media.Check it out!
