She has convinced herself that she will be speaker during the next congress regardless of the outcome of the election. Does she Really think that Republicans will vote for her? There are enough Democrats that are running on the platform that they will NOT vote for Pelosi. The speaker position is not elected only on the vote of the majority party. Normally that is a party line vote but if the democrats retain the house and can find a more acceptable speaker, Nancy will still have to take down her curtains.

Obama will begin using Executive orders and power over the administrative departments to instigate his agenda once the congress is lost.

Just look at the EPA. He could not get Cap and Trade through congress so he institutes it through the EPA.

Amnesty for illegal aliens, he cannot get that through congress so he has ICE stop enforcing the immigration laws.

Maybe. I don't really care so much. All the spending bills have to be initiated in the House. I'd be happy enough to get the government to come to a screeching halt and stop this spending crazy train as a start.

I have no hope that my Senator won't be reelected. She's been entrenched in DC for decades and the GOP doesn't even try.

And if they do? So? They are in control now but the republicans have been able to slow down some of their agenda. Who knows how this will turn out but it is obvious the Dems are scared bc the fear and rhetoric have been ramped up.
