Yes. You Brits have gone insane, as we Americans have as well. I realized this after the death of Diana, the spoiled, childish Princess who did nothing "wonderful" but take a few taxpayer-funded journeys to poor countries and do what her publicity people told her to do and say. She was merely a celebrity, yet the media showed grown men bawling like little babies in the street after she died, all claiming they "Knew" her. Anything for dramatic, tabloidish effect. What ever happened to the dignified, logical Brit who cared about the public image he presented?Enter the new Diana. A touchy-feely liberal who is quite a handsome fellow. A rock star. Now almost as popular as Winston Churchill, even though few knew who he was a few days ago. We live in an era of celebrity, and now we elect them even when they have not one whit of logic in their littler heads.
Yeah, we are insane for electing Obama, but you guys in Britain should know better.
