Mexico prints its ballots in Spanish only because they have an Official Language. But according to the Immigration Laws, any immigrant that is seeking to get American Citizenship through Naturalization has to learn to speak English by law. So I agree with you, why are different states printing ballots in Spanish and other languages? And by law you have to be an American citizen in order to be able to vote. So by law, all legal American citizens should be able to read a ballot that is printed in English.

Hi, I'm not sure what area of Illinois you live in, but the Cook County Clerks office has a website called Voterinfonet that shows how to vote, also lets you enter your address and will list the candidates running in your district.
