We Answered:

It's on SKY NEWS and BBC NEWS 24 tonight at 9.00 pm.
It's on until 10.30 pm on SKY, but only until 10.00 pm on BBC NEWS 24 because of the 10 O'Clock News.
It's then repeated on BBC2 tonight at 11.50pm
It will also be on BBC Parliament but you'll have to check the programme guide for times.

Nicole Said:

Who do you think did best in the UK election debate?

We Answered:

Nick Clegg by a mile,as all the polls confirm.

"There is no doubt at all about who won Thursday night's debate so far as the viewers were concerned: Nick Clegg. No less than five polls of a representative sample of viewers immediately after the studio lights went down all found far more people nominating Mr Clegg as the winner than either of his two rivals.

According to Populus, as many as 61 per cent reckoned Mr Clegg the winner. Both ICM and YouGov found 51 per cent thought he was best. Angus Reid gave him a more modest 46 per cent, while ComRes, who conducted the largest exercise of all, contacting over 4,000 viewers, put the figure at 43 per cent."

Clegg was the most relaxed and confident and looked at the camera more than Cameron and Brown, both of whom seemed to forget it was a TELEVISION debate and focused mainly on the studio audience - and on each other, allowing Clegg to take full advantage.

Reeling off the names of people who had asked questions was a neat trick.

The next opinion polls will show a rise in Lib Dem support on the back of this accomplished display.

As Channel 4 said, Clegg raised his game.
The other two gave their usual performance - and it wasn't enough.
