Election Debates 2010
Ralph Said:
What was your favorite debate for this 2010 election cycle? We Answered:
I really liked how republican senators find out there is separation of church and state...Jared Said:
Should we shake in our boots when Republicans predict yet another victory in the 2010 election? We Answered:
thanks to the holy hussein the republicans will be back in powerEdward Said:
Is there any point in railroading politicians into pointless televised election "debates"?We Answered:
These televised political debates prove nothing. Here in UK the real proof of a political leader's worth comes weekly at PMQs - it's in the arena of the House of Commons where we have traditionally done our political wars. We do not need Sky-Murdock thing. Waste of time and space. Far better to use the time for a little more extra football time or something.Meanwhile back to the future - in the USA in the run up to the c1962 election - JFK looked good on TV while his Republican oponent Richard M Nixon looked like a sweaty version of Richard III in some second rate Company doing Shakespeare. Yet on the radio (broadcast at the same time) Nixon was a clear winner.
So no, I'm entirely opposed to political debates on TV.
Something I recently discovered while on holiday in Crete. All my life I had believed that "The Greeks have a word for it." Apparently they do not have a word for DEBATE and I noticed this word in English on many TV screens during their recent general election a few weeks ago.
So there you are then. . . etc.

Did you watch any of the 2010 election debates? Which debate did you like the most?We Answered:
Strickland vs. KasichChad Said:
Who is better to be a president in the near 2010 election is it Manny Villar or Noynoy Aquino? Why?answer ASAP!?We Answered:
In my opinion, well Noynoy Aquino would be a better president if he aggrees about the needs of the Filipinos especially about the reproductive bill. While in Manny Villar, he will be a better president if he accept his wrongs and helps more people out there.Olga Said:
What if TV networks air their 2010 Election specials, debates, etc. on prime-time? So more pinoys can watch...?We Answered:
Unfortunately for, territories, protectorates, and countries with undeclared state affiliations - Obama is about to throw you under the bus. Attention is now directed on giving 12 Million illegal alien Mexicans 1) Legal Status 2) Amnesty 3) A "fast track" to citizenship and 4) Welfare and Health Care benefits in the process. Several Democratic Legislators are championing their cause as they demonstrate openly - even though they are illegally in the U.S. For Samoans, Puerto Ricans, Filipino's, the residents of places like Guam and the Marshall Islands you can only look forward to limited voting rights in elections and limited political coverage as Obama will buy up all available "air time" for his next propaganda fest. Anyone wishing to immigrate to the U.S. especially from little countries like Denmark will/and have been denied due to a quota system. Pretty sad that only the people who will insure Obama more votes are getting exceptions and "fast track" status.Arnold Said:
What are some of the persuasive techniques used in the 2010 election debate? We Answered:
body language.. using the 'fist' method :D
