what is the latest news on the election? Iam young and tryin to learn. thankx?

We Answered:

If you want the actual news, and not someones slanted opinion on the election, watch the news on T.V. and read your newspaper.

That will give you the opportunity to make up your own mind, and not be influenced by the personal opinions and slant of those who answer you on Yahoo answers.

What's the latest news on the Ga. runoff election?

We Answered:

Hey Levon. I'm in Atlanta, GA. Here's the rundown:

Saxby Chambliss (R) so far only has 49.9% of the votes, while Jim Martin (D) is somewhere in the 46% range. A couple of days ago, they were still counting votes, but there were not enough votes left to bring either candidate up to the 50% mark. By state law, any vote tally that falls below 50% requires an automatic runoff (you have to get at least 50% of the votes to win). So, basically, we have a runoff on Dec. 2. Both candidates are advertising regularly here, of course. We're still seeing ads from both.
