Election Uk 2010
Dwight Said:
Who would have won the uk 2010 election if proportional representation was used?We Answered:
Conservatives with 36% of seats in the House of CommonsDo you see how that just will not work?
In Italy and Germany they use that system. It leads to not only a weak government, but it allows far right political parties such as the BNP to get into the House of Commons. Britain is the only multicultural country left that has not elected at least on MP in Parliament. France have many; Germany have some; Italy have loads.
Stick to FPTP.
Maybe have a House of Lords that is elected on a Proportional representation which significantly more powers than it has now.
