People went to prison and the largest accounting firm in the world ArthurAndersen was put out of business for doing these very same things at ENRON.

But, since its government, and 10000x worse than ENRON, nobody goes to jail, nobody is fired, nobody pays a fine, and the people in Washington responsible for it, they reward themselves.

Maybe when the republicans take the house, a congressional investigation will be undertaken leading to the resignation of all those involved in the worst financial scandal IN THE HISTORY OF HUMANITY.

What I think you are seeing is just what you said. Republicans know that African-Americans will usually vote democrat. Democrats know that they will receive upwards of 95% of the black vote. Neither party is willing to spend precious dollars on advertising geared towards black voters. Being a conservative I wish that republicans would spend more dollars on this because I think that more black voters would actually agree with what conservatism is all about. They just haven't heard the message. I think that republicans are missing a huge opportunity to teach people that they are not just the party of Old White Men.
