the only polls you need to read are the ones that come out on Nov. 4. sure these may help, but as you can see they aren't really accurate.

the gallup poll ( which is the first one listed on the list) is basically the average of all 10 or more major polls. these polls survey small fractions of registered voters to see who they might be voting for in Nov. now you can already see where inaccuracies can come in. mccain in one poll is up by 10, yet in another obama is up by 1. so yeah use it as a quick reference but don't use it to judge who might win in Nov, especially considering mccain's convention bump.

Obama is unelectable I work at CNN and we often talk about this. Obama wins states like Mississippi a state the democrats wont win in the election. Hillary wins key states like Ohio.
