Gubernatorial Elections 2010

Julian Said:

Do you think that republicans would regain the majority in the 2010 elections?

We Answered:

Big time gains for republicans should result from the democrats actions in voting for Healthcare and their support of the crowd in Copenhagen. This can mean only one thing for the tax payers and that is massive taxes hidden in the Healthcare bill that kick in immediately, and any benefits that come out of this will not take effect until 2014. The second point is that all businesses big and small will not soon hire anyone back, because of the taxes on CO2 emission that the EPA will enforce. The democrats have GLOBAL WARMING SCAM written all over their backs and there is nothing Obama nor Pelosi can do to change that.

Edit: I forgot to add in 500 billion dollar cut in Medicare. BOOOM the democrats are dead, for sure.

Maria Said:

So what are the political effects of more than 30 governorships being in republican hands?

We Answered:

A governor can be a great help for a party if well liked. They can help sway a state for a candidate running for President or Congress. They can also pass laws that can cause national debate.. See the Arizona immigration law. It'll have effects but unless you live in one of the states it probably won't be noticeable. What will be noticeable is the possible changes in Congress and maybe the Presidency in 2012.

Is Billionaire Meg Whitman Winning California Gubernatorial Elections through Mega Dollars Campaign War Chest?

We Answered:

Jerry Brown invited the Republican candidates to a debate. Meg accepted but then declined after talking to her people. Politically, she is an empty suit. Jerry knows the state and has an incredible record at helping the California people.

Theresa Said:

Who is, or should be, concentrating on the 2010 Mid-Term Election?

We Answered:

Very good question.

Schwarzenegger's step-down will be bitter-sweet for many people.

He is a Republican, but he is certainly moderate and was left as the sole-supporter of Gay Marriage in the GOP...

So that Election might spell doom for liberals and Gays if Republicans play their cards right... or it could go the other way and be just that much tougher for Religious Republicans to further enact legislation against Gay Marriage.

Transversely, In Florida, many people are anxious to get rid of Charlie Crist... a Bush-pick who is not only against Gay Marriage but probably Gay himself...
