November Elections 2010

Violet Said:

Tell me about the November 2010 elections?

We Answered:

In the House, where all representatives are elected every 2 years, the polling shows that it is going to be very close to an even split between Democrats and Republicans. The latest polling shows that it could go either way, but the Republicans seem to have the momentum.

In the Senate, where only one-third of the Senators are elected every two years, it is also very close, but the Democrats seem to have the edge. There are 100 voting Senate members. 63 members are not up for election this year. 40 of them are Democrats (or Independents who vote with the Democrats) and 23 are Republicans. In the case of a tie, the vice president (a Democrat) casts the deciding vote so the Republcans need 51 members to take control while the democrats only need 50. This means that the Democrats only need to win 10 seats to retain control while the Republicans need to win 28 seats. Sounds almost impossible. According to Rasmussen Reports survey of likely voters (as of 9/8/2010), Democrats have a strong lead in 6 states while Republicans have a strong lead in 15 states. Democrats have a slight lead in 2 more states while Republicans have a slight lead in 7 states. That leaves 7 states as toss-ups. Of those 7, Democrats only need to take 2 (assuming they win in their strong-lead and slight-lead states) while the Republicans need to pick up 5. It seems like a long shot right now, but the trend has been toward the Republicans.

It's going to be an exciting election year.

Frances Said:

After the November 2010 elections, did Obama spell out SOS on the white house law in cigarette buts?

We Answered:

I bet he's up to two packs a day with the Republican House.

Suzanne Said:

How many Americans will vote for the "public option" in the Congressional elections in November 2010?

We Answered:

All of the flaws in health care reform are driven by seeking republican approvals. The rich will be protected from paying while the poor will get the care for free.

Hang on middle we about to be bent over again.

I will still vote dem though.

Casey Said:

Can someone tell me about the November 2010 elections?

We Answered:

I've voted both Democrat and Republican in past years but believe me on this, you'll want to vote this one. It matters drastically who controls the house and senate. You've already seen in the past year that the health care was passed (even though gallop polls showed a majority of Americans didn't want it--government took control of GM--Wall Street--Education, ect... you don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand that if it looks like Marxism, smells like it, talks like it--probably is. Where in the hell does common sense step in with people today. By the way, our government has now added 12 other countries to their own lawsuit against Arizona. What doesn't make sense here folks. We give immigrants social security cards, free health care, food stamps, ect... and the 12 countries that have joined the lawsuit for instance, Venuzuela, locks you away for life or simply kills anyone who crosses their borders but yet; we allow them to have input into our business. Bottom line, conservatives have finally awoken and all of us will see it in November.

Sincerely, Brad Morrison

Marie Said:

Will the November 2010 elections in the US be held on schedule?

We Answered:

Not if Obama has anything to say about it.

Aaron Said:

What happened in the November 2, 2010 elections?

We Answered:

The populist movement is all hot and bothered ( Tea Party) , and the republican machine used their fire to get control of the house.

Alfred Said:

Will the Obama dream become a nightmare in November 2010 after the Congressional Elections?

We Answered:

I think it already a nightmare!

Discuss It!
