I am from Wisconsin. The present governor is not running for reelection because the polls show that he could not win. It is going to be a very interesting race. The mayor of Milwaukee (a former Congressman) is running on the Democratic side and there two strong candidates on the Republican side. It could go either way. There will be several other weaker candidates on both sides.

There's no doubt that all the dems are going to have a battle on thier hands. The best part about the Massachusetts election results is that Republicans that had before thought that running in liberal areas was a waste of time now know that they CAN win races. This used to be the problem in Mass, nobody would run against the dems because it was assumed they would lose.
