Civics i need help ...?

We Answered:

I refuse to do your homework for you......in the time you took to type all this out, you could have googled everything and been DONE with it!

And people wonder why young kids don't know who the president is in those "man on the street" interviews.....this is why, right here......

If the court has to take into account Islamic law, then how about Christian law?

We Answered:

The People Run the Country , NOT Some activist Judge Going amok on his Own against the wil of the people, That is why it is so Important to Thoroughly check out those elected positions to keep those kinds of Judges from getting into Office.

A Christian should view the separation of church and state to be a good thing. Those who wish to combine them usually do so thinking that Christianity is the only religion that will be state-sanctioned. The opposite is true. Once the state aligns itself with religion, the floodgates will be opened for any and all religions to take their place in government.

How about starting a neighborhood crime watch. If you can get enough interested people involved in your community.Start reporting these things and keep a log of it if the councilman or any public official neglects their duties than bring in the media. That is a sure way of getting attention to neighborhood problems.

What Impact will this have on Obama in 2012?

We Answered:

It's about time this happened. Now, if they would just go a little further and require ID to vote, I'd think we would be back on track to really seeing how this country's citizens actually vote.

Arnold Said:

If the constitution separates church and state, why did a Judge in Oklahoma strike down a ban on Sharia in?

We Answered:

I suppose the liberals want to apply separation of church and state, but not separation of mosque and state.

Many liberals appear to me to despise American values and Western civilization in general.

Carolyn Said:

Do these anti-evolution bills have any chance of passing in the Oklahoma Congress this year?

We Answered:

Last year Oklahoma passed a constitutional amendment prohibiting Sharia law, despite any reason to believe courts were suddenly going to start using it; a useless act allowing Oklahomans to opt out of federal health care bills which is completely unenforceable and against federal law; and a law requiring all legislation be written in English, despite the fact that it never ever had not been written in English. As a state we have zero money and because of the budget shortfalls, the state is probably about to dip into police officer pensions, but we enact all of these litigation bait provisions.

So the answer is yes, I think it has a chance of passing.

My view is that yet again, Oklahoma lawmakers are trying to lure voters by enacting useless legislation.

We are a Bible belt state. I assure you teachers in this state are very quick to point out the flaws in evolution theory and are quick to tell students that they believe God created the world. They may not technically be allowed to, but they do. And most parents I know, including myself, like it when teachers do that just fine.

This bill is stupid, and if it passes into law the state will waste money fighting the inevitable lawsuit.
