Pa Election Results

Timothy Said:

Why did 87% of blacks support Governor Ed Rendell over Lynn Swann?

We Answered:

I understand the point you're making.
As Neo Cons claims over 90% Black people voted for Obama because he is Black but the fact is Black people always vote Democratic because Republicans don't welcome them in their party
I'd like to know how many black people support Michael Steele

Martin Said:

Isn't it sad that 19% of PA voters said that gender was an issue which helped make their voting decision?

We Answered:

YES! It is very sad, because she isn't running as a woman who has made it on her own, like a man, but rather as somebody's wife. Soon, we will have a leader elected to the highest office in the land on her own merits. Gone are the days when women had to rise to power by proxy. Let's not endorse that outdated routine. I'm backing Obama, an intelligent and sensible candidate who does not give off the familiar stench of politics as usual.

Jean Said:

Hazelton,Pa.,is this election results a prelude to the Presidential election in 08 ?

May I be the first to say, no one in the rest of America has a clue what you are talking about?

Sonia Said:

Neil Said:

WOMEN of color ONLY...Do you identify more with Obama or Clinton? Why?

We Answered:

Yes. I can identify with Obama more. As blacks we have been oppress. I don't think white women have been oppress. I am being honest. When the election started, I was going to vote for Hilary. My mom love her some Bill and the Clintons has been good to black back da day. Bill Clinton brought up the race card and that turn me off. Hilary campaign has been very negative. She has disrespected Obama so many times during this campaign. I can understand both of them want to win but when it becomes personal and hitting below the belt. That a big turn off for me. Hilary has made this very personal. In my opinion she will do anything to win. This is a new day and new hour. Many black see Obama as our chance. If other minorities were looking at the bigger picture, they would see this as their chance too. Hillary has never been poor or black. Obama has been poor. Hilary has had a pretty good life. She is still living the good life 109 mil to Obama 4.7 mil. I believe she is running off of Bill's record. What have Hilary really done? I feel she think she is entitled because she is white. I feel the Clinton has deserted African Americans. Hilary is now going after the white vote by using fear and race-baiting. Obama is biracial but in many people eyes. He is a black man in white America. Obama was poor and raise by a single mother who receive food stamps. Obama and Clinton policies are the same. In my opinion I feel it time for a person of color to represent America. If Obama is going through hell now, don't you think it will be the same for Latino, Asian, Native American etc? Who might one day want to run for presidency? Whites will continue to have power and run every because they are the majority. They do not want to give up that power. Barack as president will not only represent the black race but people of color too. I think we need a change, move forward and mature as a nation. I rather have a president who is for "UNITY" than a president who represents hate and division.

OBAMA '08.

Edit: For me another reason is when black women needed white women support. Many white women turn their backs. Many white women still get more jobs than black women. So again we are not playing on an even playing field.

**What I am reading and hearing on the news. If Blacks and a some educate whites do not support Obama who will? Most other minorities are supporting Clinton. She got aprox 62% of the Latinos vote in TX.**
