Clinton is doing what she is told.We overthrew (the CIA) the elected government of Iran to put the Shaw of Iran in power because he was pro US OIL. We helped overthrow the government of Iraq to put Saddam Hussein in power so he could fight the Iranians for us.
They see it as in the interest of the United States for President Hosni Mubarak to be in power, though I don't think we will intervene, nor should we, militarily.
We support a lot of dictators, However Obama gave Hosni Mubarak a clear message he needs to change his government, stop firing on demonstrators or we will take back our aid. Seemed pretty clear to me he was NOT on the side of Mubarak!
