No. It shows to the nation where we are headed. The 2 seats in the house mean basically nothing. The reason I say that is because many more people voted for the gubernatorial race than the house seats, which shows even a liberal state voting republican.

It shows that people do not approve of what is going on in Washington. The exit polls showed this as more and more people were saying they were not happy with what is going on in Washington today. Obama spent a lot of time in New Jersey trying to get Corizin reelected and failed. It showed that his charm didn't work. People are just fed up with what is going on in Washington. They are tired of what Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are trying to do, and not letting any of the other Congress men have there say, they are telling them what will be. Next year a lot of Congress men are up for election, they have to now be very careful how they vote, or they to will no longer be in Washington but out of a job. It is no longer what Obama wants, but what the people want. The people have spoken and have sent a solid message to Washington. Shape up or get out!

In response to the latest so-called "generic ballot" question from the Gallup organization -- "If elections for Congress were being held today, which party's candidate would you vote for in your congressional district?" -- the new results are 48 percent for Republicans versus 44 percent for Democrats among registered voters, and 46 percent for Republicans versus 44 percent for Democrats among adults nationwide.
