Who To Vote For In General Election

Stella Said:

UK only: If there was a general election this year who would you vote for?

We Answered:

I guess I'd vote Labour, not because I'm a big labour fan but to keep the tories out. The lib-dems have really shot themselves in the foot and I think will take years to recover support & credibility following their disastrous coalition.

Voting green is a possibility but I wouldn't want to split the vote, its Crucial that we return a strong majority to the party that at least tips its hat to the needs of the majority.

Voting for any other minority party is a pointless waste of a vote and the far right need to be well & truly defeated to prove to them they are a sick joke and bully boy tactics will never win over in Britain.

Fred Said:

Who can vote in General/Primary elections? 3rd partys? independents?

We Answered:

a registered voter can vote for whoever they want in a general election. in a closed election ( only primaries ) voters can only vote for a candidate in the party the voters are registered in: rep's can only vote for rep candidates, dem's can only vote for dem candidates, etc. open and closed elections vary state to state and only apply to primary elections. my state has closed primary elections, i could only vote for a rep. candidate.

Vanessa Said:

Who would you have voted for in the general election? and why?

We Answered:

Comparatively new party? The Liberal Party has been around for a lot longer than Labour. And the Liberal Democrats would destroy the British economy by taking us into the Euro, and Britain itself by unquestioningly agreeing to anything that comes out of Brussels.

Be realistic and vote for the party that has always provided the best British governments. Vote Conservative.

Carrie Said:

Americans, when you decide who to vote for in a general election...?

We Answered:

I take voting very seriously. We are choosing the people who will lead our country. I study their experience, their platforms and the things they have done. It also depends on If I feel they are honest and have good morals. I vote for the candidate I feel has the interest of the people at heart. So I guess you can say, I choose the candidate who I believe would be better for the country as a whole.

Kenneth Said:
