The only way that there would be a chance that Minnesota would vote for a Republican this year is if Tim Pawlenty is chosen as McCain's VP, and even then it would be tough for him to pull off. However, it might tip Wisconsin to the Republican side.With Obama likely winning the Democrat party nomination, Illinois will not be in play for the Republicans, and they are smart enough to know it.
