Don't jump to the wrong conclusions on this Asian trip----referenced today in his talk to the press. Several major business leaders are accompanying the Obamas and this is part of the President's push to OPEN MARKETS to American-made goods, especially to the alternative-energy products that are now being produced in at least 40 states.

India is one of the Third-World (but growing) economies to which many of our jobs were outsourced into nonexistence during the Bush/Cheney/GOP days, because the average wage there has been around $300 a year, thus enabling GREEDY-GUT corporate fatcats to EXPLOIT the Indian citizenry in order to be even GREEDIER and even further "expand their profit margins." Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been working pretty hard to get markets to open up to taking in more of our exports---but first the Democrats and President Obama had to GET OUR MANUFACTURING BASE BACK so that we were actually MAKING something that we COULD EXPORT---and that is what the Recovery Act "stimulus" dollars were used to create.

NOT "clownish" but VERY PRODUCTIVE! If the trip succeeds not just in India but in other Asian economies as well, American workers will BENEFIT for a long time to come and our economy will GROW!
