Has the Tea Party Movement done enough to oust RINO's & Progressives from the Republican Party? We Answered:
Not even close. We need constant vigilance. I pledge to be.an.informed voter and vote for those that are fiscally conservative and have a record that matches. I also pledge to research propositions that I vote on to make sure we aren't charged more taxes and fees.Ben Said:
Do you support the notion that RINO's need not apply for political office in the Republican party? We Answered:
Not so much RINO, ConservativeI want people who believe in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, unfortunately none of our representatives of late even give this a nod when making laws.
It is that the Republicans are more inclined to listen to the people, as evident by the Healthcare Ram Through, by the Democrats.
I want representatives that listen to the people. This is suppose to be OUR Government they work for us. it is out of balance. I use to be a D but became a R because of the Radical leftist that took over the D party.
HOPEFULLY this election will be the beginning of the people taking back the Government
Albert Said:
Are we poised for a new era as the republican party assumes the majority? We Answered:
The GOP has a majority in the US House of Representatives. Democrats still control the US Senate and the Presidency. No one can predict how Congress will perform until we see how often and on what issues Tea Party Republicans find common ground with establishment Republicans or with Democrats. If Tea Party Republicans refuse to work with establishment Republicans or Democrats, then only legislation supported by both Democrats and establishment Republicans can pass in both houses with the prospect of being signed into law by the President. For the next two years Congress and the President will be measured by their success or failure to support the rapid growth of jobs and the private sector economy in America. This is a non-ideological aim that should be the primary mission of all members of Congress and the President. The secondary mission is raising taxes and cutting spending to achieve a balanced budget process permanently. There are different ways of achieving the goal of a balanced budget, but if new taxes or more effective ways of raising federal tax revenues, i.e., flattening taxes, creating a federal sales tax to liquidate the national debt, etc. are rejected on ideological grounds in favor of spending cuts only, then no sensible compromise will be found and the threat of a sovereign debt crisis will continue to overshadow the American economy and affect capital investment and thus the rate of economic growth in America.
If the operating principle of the newest members of Congress is to find workable solutions to America's various challenges, then I look forward to the next Congress. If not, then it will be just more of the same, just with a new rallying cry. Forgive me if I don't share your unbridled enthusiasm that a fierce commitment to a different ideology is all that is required to change the American political calculus towards a better outcome for more Americans who lack jobs, whose savings have been depleted or exhausted, and who no longer enjoy employer-funded health insurance or 401K retirement plans. We have to get these Americans whose economic futures are bleak back to work in the private sector ASAP. Long term fiscal accountability is a part of that equation certainly, but it isn't the only one or even the most important one until the American economy is in a position of real strength and is generating jobs for millions more Americans.
Happy New Year!

Is it possible that Mr. Arnold (R-CA) could change the direction of the Rep. party by legalizing weed in CA?We Answered:
His solution is to legalize pot and tax it at $50 an once. Does anyone really believe that would remove the street vendor?Erika Said:
Would Obama greatly increase his chance of winning in 2012 if he switched to the Republican Party? We Answered:
yeah like there is a even a remote chance that we would have him !Tracy Said:
Why do some people think the Republican Party is a racist party? We Answered:
The real life story of a current Republican family was told in the movie "The Blind Side". How or why Democrats continue to generalize all Republicans as rich, white, racist or religious fanatics is really offending to me.Chad Said:
Why do American citizens who trace heritage to the Indian Sub-Continent gravitate to the Republican party? We Answered:
