Why? Why get something done that is wrong and not right to begin with? Aren't you more worried about getting something fair and right and not just done for the party sake? You cannot undo a bill once it is passed. Why can't they read the republican's compromises instead of shutting off lights and walking out without thinking or reading them. WHY can't they read their own bill? Even Obama said he didn't read it....so why should we agree on something that he has not read and half the senate has not read?

What are they so afraid of that they have to push it through without making sure it is as good for everyone as possible instead of having to FIX it later? Why not FIX it now?

This also has nothing to do with those making 250,000 or more. If so few make that...then who is paying for the 300 million in this country? THINK ABOUT IT.

IT IS INSURANCE...you will pay for it and get less than if you paid for your own. IF YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT THEN...why not pay for it NOW?

Do Dems need cooperation? Well, unfortunately, yes. By preventing the Senate from doing its JOB, the GOP can really screw up the entire country (which is what they've done so well in the past).

I'm with Doris Kearns Goodwin on this. Instead of caving to GOP THREATS to Fillibuster, they should LET them. Let C-SPAN air hour after hour, day after day of wing-nuts blather on meaninglessly in their attempt to prevent anything the voters hired Congress and the President to do from actually being done.

When the election is in full swing, Dems just play snippets of Republicans fillibustering and point out that the reason NOTHING has been done to help the people of America BECAUSE of the GOP, we'll see who we vote for.
